 Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic Couture is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated professional, salesperson to join our dynamic sales team in our San Francisco Showroom.  Job Description: Home Interiors Sales Associate

Primary Function: Provide the best shopping experience for our customers, including generating sales, merchandising, offering product knowledge, In-Home Consultations, stocking merchandise and maintaining operational standards.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure individual sales goals are met or exceeded
• Stays current on individual and store goals and the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly
• Continuous clientele building and growth of existing client sales
• Excellent Customer Service skills, i.e. following up with clients on new merchandise and suggestive sales as well as offering In-Home Consultations
• Basic space planning and product sketching
• Ability to execute Company approved Visual Plan
• Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all departments, including Bedding, Slipped Furniture, Collection Furniture, Lighting, Accessories, etc.
• Maintain professional relationships, Internal and External that meet company standards
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers and management
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, processing shipment and general housekeeping
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, occasional evenings and holidays
• Completing operational duties, including paperwork, sales ledger and other various aspects in regard to opening and closing the store

 Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or Equivalent Retail / Home Interiors experience required
• Ability to appropriately collaborate with peers and customers
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Proficient in MS Office. POS systems a plus
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work flexible schedule in order to meet the needs of the business, including evenings on occasion, weekends and holidays
